GEORGETOWN ESTATE

Built in 1921 for Anne Archbold this Georgetown estate had been abandoned for twenty years when it was saved and restored by Isabel Ernst and her husband. Gertrude Stein, who had visited this room, would have loved the Ernsts' collection of contemporary Latin American art.
